Trust Based Relational Intervention

Deborah is setting out to become a TBRI Practitioner this coming May! Generous funds from supporters, as well as a scholarship from the Steven Curtis Chapman foundation have confirmed the Lord’s leading in this area. We believe this will be another tool in her belt to teach TBRI methodologies to the masses!

TBRI is the world’s most effective trauma-informed, attachment-based model of care for vulnerable children — and is a transformative caregiving approach that prioritizes trust, connection, and correction to support children. Drawing from attachment theory and trauma-informed care, TBRI equips caregivers with practical strategies to create safe, nurturing environments where children can thrive. Combined with her understanding of the gospel and the revelation of Jesus as our Good Shepherd and Perfect Caregiver. It establishes 3 pillars of transformational care for people to experience growing, thriving relationships:

Christlike Connection – The Way of the Perfect Caregiver

Christlike Empowerment – The Way of the Helper

Christlike Correction – The Way of the Good Shepherd
